Fragments from Beethoven's Skull Discovered in California Now on Loan at SJSU 11/17/2005
The Ira F. Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies at San
José State University today announced that two fragments of Beethoven's
skull have been located in California and are now on long-term
loan to the Center.
20-Foot Historic Sculpture Unveiled 10/17/2005
The three-year, student-led effort to honor alumni Tommie Smith and John Carlos, who won gold and bronze medals in the 200-meter dash in the 1968 Olympic games in Mexico City, will culminate today at 5 p.m. with the unveiling of the 20-foot sculpture depicting their historic silent protest for human rights.
